This is an original vintage magazine advertisement for Chrysler’s 1972 Plymouth Satellite, salvaged from the July 1972 edition of Car & Driver magazine. Measuring in at 11 1/4″ x 8 1/4″, this item comes with FREE SHIPPING! The 1972 model year represented the 2nd year in production of the 3rd generation Satellites. Equipped with Chrysler’s newly adopted “fuselage” styling, the 2-door coupes were available in base trim (in which the rear windows that did not roll down), Sebring trim, and Sebring Plus trim. Two-door models featured a ‘loop-type’ front bumper and were the basis for the related GTX and Roadrunner models. This fine example of Madison Avenue automotive advertising ephemera is easily suited for framing, and would make a great addition for any collector or automobilia enthusiast who is a fan of historic Detroit metal and Plymouth or Chrysler lore! Note that this is an original advertisement -not a reproduction or a newly printed remake. Please be sure to carefully review the pictures in detail so that they meet your expectations prior to making your purchase. The 2nd photo image displayed is just a facsimile of how the picture might look when matted, framed and hung on a wall, and does not represent the item for sale. The item is sold as unmatted and unframed (see first photo). While most aged magazine documentation will typically show some sign of age such as curling, yellowed edges or fraying, this ad does not and is in excellent condition. Please note that nothing on the page has been hidden or ‘Photo-shopped’ out.
