The 1957 Chrysler saw the new forward look design with dramatically lower bodies, crisp thin-section rooflines, more glass, and soaring tailfins. Five models were now available; The base model was still the Windsor The mid spec model was the Saratoga The upmarket model was the New Yorker, in 2 or 4 door Hardtop, 4 door Sedan, 2 door Convertible and Town and Country Wagon. The New Yorker sported fins that swept up from just behind the front doors. Early in the year, they had single headlamps, quad headlamps were optional where state regulations permitted them. Single headlamps were dropped later in the year. The high performance model was the 300C 2 door Hardtop. The long Wheelbase Imperial, now marketed under its own brand, not using the Chrysler name, was available in base Custom, mid range Crown and top LeBaron.. Engine; 325hp 392 cu in Fire Power Hemi V8
