Ever wanted to go back in time and get a do-over? Well, reality is you cant. But you can sure get close with this absolutely drop dead gorgeous 2006 Silverado 3500 LT Crew Cab. This is my fathers personal truck. My uncle was the first owner, and he purchased it from him about 6 years ago. It is equipped exactly how it should be with the Iconic Duramax Diesel LBZ Engine, and Bullet Proof Allison Automatic Transmission. These engines are so popular because GM finally got it right in 2006 and 2007… Before all the emmission bull crap and government intervention took over the diesel market. Many regard this as the “holy grail” of Chevy diesels.

The Chevy has 164,988 miles but make no mistake… This truck is cleaner than one with 30,000 miles!! Take a look at the pictures, and yes, its nicer in person. Bring any mechanic, inspector, guru, expert, or friend that knows everything. They will not be disappointed! The Black paint is all original except for the drivers side bed side. It had a scratch in it so we had it repainted in 2014. It shines with amazing depth and gloss. You can literally read the print on your shirt in the reflection 10 feet away! The undercarriage was undercoated when new. It is super clean, with no rust issues. Frame is also clean, straight, and no issues. No accidents, no fender benders, clean Carfax history. It resided primarily in Florida the majority of its life which also helped not being exposed to the northeast winters. We treated this truck like a boat, motorcycle, or classic car… after we came home with it, we would wash it, hose off the undercarriage, and let it dry before we put her back in the garage, and it clearly shows.

It rides, drives, and handles like a new $70k truck; straight down the road with no shimmies, shakes, or vibrations. Extremely tight and surprisingly easy to drive for what it is. I would not hesitate to get behind the wheel of this truck with my family and drive it anywhere! Interior is exceptionally clean as well. The leather has held up great. Slight wear on drivers seat but overall beautiful. As far as maintenance, whatever the truck needed, or didnt, it got replaced. We absolutely spared no expense in the service and up keep of this Chevy. All New in the last 2 years include shocks, springs, Michelin tires (less than 3k miles), batteries, brakes, brake lines, etc. You name it, its been done or upgraded under our ownership! This exact truck new today runs over $70,000! And no where near this bullet proof!
