Outstanding luxury plus great 4-Motion performance. It’s performance is slightly less than the Focus RS, but SOOO much more comfortable and functional. You choose stearing, breaking, acceleration, engine feedback, and chasis control according to your preferences: Eco, Comfort, Normal or Race. Or, you can mix and match as you please. Sweet!
The audio system is amazing. Not only clear audio but punchy bass from a sub-woofer under the floor.
The dash is amazing with a super high contrast 12-inch screen. It can show navigation, mileage, economy, range, driver control, etc. The stereo console is great.
There are two major irritations.
1) VW quietly removed all possibility of adding a trailer hitch. No bike carrier for me!
2) The center console is quite large, but cannot be opened. Yes, it’s just an armrest now.
Lastly, you should know that the ride is pretty rough, even in the “Comfort” mode. This is due to the low profile tires. At least you can swap wheels and buy new tires.
