The Chevrolet Bolt is the first mass-produced electric car of the GM concern. I am very happy with the dimensions of the car. The exterior of the car turned out to be quite nice. Usually all electric cars look a little strange. What I like most about the design of the Chevrolet Bolt is that it doesn’t try to shout loudly to the whole neighborhood that it’s an electric car. He is quite decent, calm and reserved. But not in beauty happiness, when we talk about cars that go almost free for 500 kilometers.
Interior decoration is a double-edged sensation, because the finish is not made of the most expensive materials and does not claim to be premium, but at the same time it is well done, all metal panels are covered with plastic. At the same time, the plastic on the torpedo is hard and budget, but light bids give a positive mood. The seats are covered with inexpensive leather, but there is a perforation.
At the wheel, with a height of almost 2 meters, I managed to get comfortable. There is enough space above your head, and the seat is height-adjustable, albeit mechanically. Armrest with a detachable recess, long and comfortable.
The multimedia system is quite interesting. A huge screen located in the center provides a large amount of useful information. I did not like the appearance of the menu, in terms of style, it seems that the design was not worked on at all. But the screen itself is high-quality, as is the image on it. But the main thing is that the menu is quite convenient and easy to navigate. It’s great that you can display information about your energy consumption and see how economical you are driving. In general, there are many settings from adjusting the maximum charging current to enabling/ disabling the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay functions.
I also have conflicting feelings about the dashboard design. Everything is bright, informative, you can change the color of the theme, but somehow tasteless. As for the configuration and additional security systems, the Chevrolet Bolt can easily compete with cars of higher classes. Adaptive cruise control, all-round view, a rear-view camera with information output to a large display, plus an additional camera that is broadcast to the interior mirror. Climate control is single-zone, but works without complaints.
In the second row, thanks to the vertical landing, I was able to fit comfortably without resting my knees on the back of the front seat, but there is not enough space for my head.
But there are certain problems with the trunk-it is small, and you can see it.
Acceleration to hundreds according to the passport here is promised in 7.2 seconds. This is a very good indicator.
