I have purchased the truck Ford F-150 XLT in the December 2019. It was a deliberate purchase.
During the life I had a lot of cars that were quite comfortable and not very comfortable but now I needed a car that I would not worry about getting in large muddy puddles while driving off-road, and also feel confident on the asphalt. To be honest the price may seem a little bit high but the stunning appearance still takes its toll. The exterior is designed in a classic style. I preferred it to the overly bright design of other cars. Restrained, concise, in the style of Ford.
Before buying I had a test drive and was pleasantly surprised that the car accelerates quickly enough which allowed me to feel confident on city roads and carry a heavy trailer on the road. For this I am grateful to the 290 horsepower of the engine.
When parking I felt very comfortable in contrast to a large truck since I often go to the store and turn around on a large truck would be problematic. At the same time it is a powerful truck! And a four-wheel-drive truck with all-terrain tires. Cool! Once I bought a couple of brushcutters which I threw back into the body of the truck and there was still a lot of free space left.
When I went to the forest I probably didn’t need a winch on the front bumper but it’s only a matter of time before I put it on. A real all-terrain vehicle! Even while driving along the forest road I still felt like I was driving through the city as the car was playing modern music from high-quality audio system. And in general the interior was conducive to relaxed driving rather than strenuous observation of the deep road ruts. Everything was comfortable: LCD display, navigation system, bright speed indicators, leather trim on the front console, bucket seats that fit comfortably on the body, comfortable controls on the steering wheel. Everything is located in its place, it is very convenient. The truck has a roomy glove compartment with lighting even in the dark.
Once I even spent the night in it – just enough space. Not to say that it is very convenient but you can go on a trip, even with an overnight stay. The car goes smoothly and yet it is a truck.
The truck is not capricious to the quality of gasoline fuel in contrast to diesel. Since I have to go on long trips to other regions of the country, where there are not so many fuel stations of the best brands. This is definitely a plus. The course of the truck is not as soft as that of an SUV, that’s why it’s a truck. It performs all the functions of the truck perfectly.
