2019 Hyundai Santa Fe XL SE Review and Price

The third row in the Hyundai Santa Fe XL is suitable for short passengers or children. The new three-row car body is suitable for family trips. It will hold six or seven people. The first and second rows should be comfortable for most adult passengers.

The XL has a 3.3-liter V6. It consumes slightly more than the competitors’ four-cylinder turbocharged cars. But the efficiency of the engine from the Hyundai brand is quite good. For standard equipment the Hyundai Santa Fe XL 2019 install a lot of additional features.

However, the cargo capacity of the Hyundai Santa Fe XL behind the third row is not good enough.

Visibility forward, for today’s times, is very, very good.

Acceptable height belt line of windows and windshield – there is no feeling that you are sitting at the bottom of a well.

Shameful display. Resolution, functionality, and so on are no match for even the cheapest tablet. A lame Navigator that doesn’t see roads at all, and Android Auto doesn’t allow you to transfer other navigators from your phone, except for “wise” and “Google maps”.

The mid-size Santa Fe XL SUV received two levels of equipment from Hyundai in 2019. In both configurations, you can choose full or front-wheel drive. With a standard V6, you can get 290 horses and 343 Nm.

It is equipped with front-wheel drive and a six-speed automatic. And the AWD system is offered additionally. In the basic SE, the Hyundai is equipped with: led headlights, heated side mirrors, eighteen-inch wheels, two-zone automatic climate control, controls for the driver’s seat, a second-row folding system, a seven-inch display.

The suspension as a whole did not leave any noticeable negative aftertaste, as well as did not cause delight. Quite collected and not particularly hard at the same time. The only thing that shakes an empty car on small bumps stronger than desired. If there were wheels of a larger diameter (and, accordingly, a lower profile rubber), then perhaps there would be more negative.

On smooth asphalt, the car pleases with a high level of acoustic comfort, but as soon as you leave on a rough surface, the idyll is destroyed – the rumble of wheels becomes clearly audible in the cabin, and unpleasant vibrations appear on the steering wheel.

In terms of dynamics and acceleration – above all praise. Enough to feel confident on the track. Consumption of 8.5 liters in the city.

The saddest thing is that after the first winter, the condition of elements of the “chrome type” is depressing. It feels like the car is not six months old, but 10 years of operation. This is despite the fact that the car was regularly washed (on average once a week). Claims to the dealer did not bring the desired result (replacement under warranty).

In general, the Santa Fe generally has a positive balance of everyday consumer qualities, for an enthusiast, the car is weak.
