I want to share my impressions of my new purchase – Toyota 4Runner Limited Nightshade.
This model is one of the most purchased cars among my friends for driving off-road. In this price segment this is the most appropriate option. I do not like trucks and I like cars with a covered body so my choice fell on Toyota 4Runner.
I used this car to go fishing and on a picnic with my family. To be honest it almost never let me down. The car is large, roomy and has a high ground clearance. Of course the car will not be able to drive very fast on the turns but do not forget that this is a full frame jeep.
Inside the cabin is very comfortable and spacious there are all modern options including LCD display, leather interior, high-quality audio system, USB connectors. The jeep-all-wheel drive indicates its high cross-country capability. By the way I turned on all-wheel drive even when I went off-road not so often. A couple of times I used the winch which I put optionally. But only a tractor would have passed along that road.
The car is wide for ambush on hunting. There is where to spend the night and the dead elk will fit completely if you spread out the back seats.
The updated design of Toyota, alloy wheels allow you to look good even on the track among other cars of this class. The presence of an upper trunk allows you to load those things that will not fit in the cabin. This was an additional advantage for the case when I had to transport a lot of things to the country.
The powerful engine does not allow you to doubt the capabilities in any long trips. Horsepower is quite enough. The power is sufficient even when towing trailers, trailers even off-road.
When I had a 1985 4Runner there was no such design as in the new car.
It is very convenient while parking to use the mirror with a memory of its position. Plus I note that the leather seats are also with memory, allowing my back with sciatica to take a very comfortable position on the seat guard again. Heated seats in cold weather was a great convenience in this car.
A full-size spare wheel has already helped me out a couple of times. The size of the luggage compartment is large enough to accommodate a full-size spare wheel.
The presence of a large sunroof even in the hot time of day allows you to ride with the wind on the highway and allows you to accommodate oversized cargo sticking it out through the hatch.
The cruise control helps me relax a little when driving on the highway. You can relax freely and remove your tired foot from the gas pedal. The navigation system is also very convenient for long-distance trips as well as for trips around the city.
