| Seller Notes: | “Fully restored. I have all receipts for the work done. Over $6000 before reassembly. Plus the bike cost. No rust, scratches, dents or dings. Paint is better than original factory. $1631 spent on new paint. Clutch works great, but lever is a little stiff for me. A little lube in the cable may cure this, but I have arthritis in my hands which may be part of the problem.Tires are good, brakes are better than original due to larger hydraulic fluid reservoir. Brand new expansion chambers from England. Sorry I didn't clean them before I took the photos.Engine still needs breaking in since rebore and new center piston. Last tuned up by John Watson of Watson Cycle Service in Plain City Ohio. He is a former Drag Race "Mechanic of the Year".This bike is tuned for top end speed and acceleration. Very little power below 4000 rpm, start to feel it between 4000 to 6000, then hang on tight. Very exciting powerband. Only tried this a couple of times as the engine needs breaking in.” |
