The station is filled with sound as Colwick B1 4-6-0 no. 61177 clanks into platform 4 at Nottingham Victoria station with an express in the summer of 1963. My notes for this period are no longer available but it is almost certain that the train will have come from either Skegness or Mablethorpe. It will change locos here and will then reverse to complete its journey to Leicester.
