Replacement procedure.(Take “2005 PT Cruiser 2.4L” as an example): Step 1: Remove the six 8mm upper manifold retaining bolts. Step 2:Loosen the air intake clamp at the throttle body. Step 3:Lift the upper intake manifold and retain out of the way using a cord. Step 4:Remove old plug wire. Step 5:Using cotton swab, apply a very small amount of dielectric grease to the boot interior at each end (just the boot – not the terminal). Step 6:Reinstall new plug wire. Step 7:Repeat for each cylinder until done. Step 8:Lower intake manifold back in place and tighten to spec from interior bolts to the outside (no new gaskets required). Step 9:Tighten clamp at air intake to throttle body. Package includes: 4 x Ignition Wire.
