The new body is designed in the traditional Ford style. There is an aggressive terrain, various decorative inserts made of chrome, plastic protection and much more, which allows the car to stand out in the flow and remain practical.
The front part is quite short. Its finish begins with a raised hood cover located almost parallel to the road. Immediately below it, you can find aggressive headlamps with xenon filling, as well as a massive radiator grille, painted completely in chrome.
At the bottom, the bumper is supplemented with several more cutouts, through which the cooled air flow enters various parts of the car. A couple of bars are located on the sides. They were not too large and square in shape.
On the profile part of the car, large windows of unusual shape immediately catch your eye. Like most Americans, the windows are divided by glossy black pillars, and their perimeter is finished with a thin line of chrome. The rest of the body boasts a huge amount of both stepped and undulating terrain, most of which is focused on the doors and wheel arches. As in the front, there is a plastic protective strip at the bottom.
The back of the car also got a nice look. Here it already is more similar to a SUV, because the door of the luggage compartment there is located almost at a right angle to the road.
The interior is quite simple. The new Ford 2019 model year is finished inside with plastic, various fabrics and artificial leather.
Not the neatest look has the center console. In its upper part is a massive panel consisting of a small multimedia system monitor, a washer for controlling it, and deflectors placed vertically. It doesn’t look very interesting. Under the entire structure, there is also a huge shield, which includes buttons and washers for adjusting the climate system.
The console is connected to the tunnel by a panel that has USB, AUX, and other sockets. The tunnel itself looks much neater. Half of its area includes a knob for shifting gears, as well as buttons for setting the drive. The other half consists of Cup holders and compartments for things. Quite a lot of space is also reserved for the armrest with a folding lid, which hides the glove compartment with a cooling function.
Seats in the car are finished with either fabric or leather. Each of them provides the passenger with a fairly high level of comfort. All this is achieved using various additional functions, such as heating, electrical adjustments, side support, and others. The Ford Escape 2019 is equipped only with gasoline engines. The youngest of them is a 1.5-liter unit, the return of which is 180 forces. This is followed by a turbocharged two-liter unit, which already gives out 245 forces.
