The Lexus LS 600h is a top-class four-wheel drive luxury car. But what makes it truly unique is its hybrid operation. Thanks to it, fuel consumption has been able to be squeezed to the same level as a Volvo V70. We have run the test!
Now there is even an environmentally friendly alternative in the highest class luxury car. The Lexus LS 600h has performance as its V12-equipped competitors but draws only 9.3 l / 100 km in mixed driving.
The powertrain consists of a slim-trimmed V8 of 394 hp and an electric motor of 224 hp. The effect reaches the wheels via four-wheel drive with differential from Torsen. The system provides high performance even though the weight is also high, from 2,345 kg.
But a luxury car should also be comfortable. Among other things, the Lexus LS 600 h is equipped with air suspension and a very advanced air conditioning system to ensure that passengers are as comfortable as possible.
The car is also available in an extended version where the rear seat legroom has been expanded by 12 cm. Extra work has been put into the sound insulation and Lexus itself claims that the LS 600h is the quietest car on the market.
